Phoebe du Maurier

Phoebe du Maurier is an internationally bestselling author, inventor, pilot, and entrepreneur, but none of that was as important as transitioning.

She previously founded several technology companies, ran development teams, dealt daily with the madness of pre-transition dysphoria, changed publishing in a way that also transformed an industry, and then set about transforming herself.

Along the way she discovered what all too many of us already know: it is possible in transition to lose almost everything you previously thought mattered, but then to gain everything you never thought could be.

Originally from Australia, she lived in the US for about 15 years, and is now engaged to the inimitable Rachel, with a new-found love of life and life of love, living and working in the little flat on the top floor in the gorgeous south-east of England.
